How to Sync Samsung Health with Noom Using “Health Sync” App

One of the common difficulties that Samsung Health users encounter is the method of syncing it with Noom. To clarify, there is no direct access to these apps at the moment. Does it mean that you can’t sync them anymore? You still can. 

Before we continue, you will need to install an app named “Health Sync” so you can sync the Samsung Health data to Google Fit. After that, you will sync your Google Fit with Noom. You will need to install about four apps to do this. 

Steps in Syncing Samsung Health to Google Fit:

  1. Install the Google Fit and Samsung Health apps on your phone. Use the account you sign in with on your smartwatch. Install Health Sync after that. 
  2. Open Health Sync and choose “Ok” for the First Usage Actions. It will direct you to the page where you can select the syncing data location. Tap “Ok” again and choose Samsung Health for the base and Google Fit for the syncing target destination. 
  3. Tap “Check Google Fit Connection” on the Initialization Actions page. Choose the account you’re using for Google Fit in the Google login. 
  4. Click “Activity Information Permission” for the accessibility of the Health Sync to allow it.
  5. Ensure the syncing of Google Fit without using the app by tapping “Check Activity Tracking in Google Fit”.
  6. You will need to disable “Track Your Activities” in the app and select “Ok”.
  7. After you open Google Fit, select “Profile,” located at the bottom of the screen, and select the gear icon, which you can see in the upper right of the screen. Open the settings.
  8. Check if the Google Fit tracking is disabled so the tracking will only depend on Samsung Health. Open your Health Sync App and click “Ok” for the Initialization Finished screen.

Steps to sync Google Fit to Noom:

  1. Install Noom and open it. Finish the setup.
  2. After that, look for the 3 horizontal lines, which are located in the upper left area.
  3. Choose settings for “Apps & Devices.”
  4. Click Google Fit and sign in.

Note: A user can’t delete the registered device or third-party app data in Noom. The syncing process usually takes some time depending on the servers of the app.
