Lately, Garmin watches have made a name for themselves in the fitness and sports market, furnishing a wide range of smartwatches and fitness trackers. Most of the Garmin watches have GPS for Tracking location, a long battery life, music features, health monitoring features like heart rate tracking, sleep tracking, and step tracking to keep an eye on your health all day. So you have the option to choose one at a time. Layout your Exercise. Pick you exercise. There are a ton of different exercises built in the app that you can easily search for. You have to add some sort of warm up and cool down sections, whenever you build a workout. Add as many Intervals and Repeat functions as you like. Move the different workouts around however you want. Pick the number. Choose the amount of weight for each exercise. Set Target type. ( reps or time) Set Target. ( for the number of reps) Once you’ve designed and saved the workout, it will be automatically uploaded into your synced Garmin device. Go to the strength tab on the Garmin watch. Start the timer to record activity. Go ahead with your set of workouts along with the breaks and repeats. When the workout is completed, stop the timer. Then you get a few options like: Save, Resume later, Recovery HR, Discard. To finish and save the workout, select ‘Done’. Where you wear your fitness tracker may influence your results. Strength training is most accurate in recording sets under workout, monitoring heart rate, and counting calories. Because of the availability of so many exercises, it becomes very difficult to find any specific exercise. The names of the exercises may be a little different and you may not always find the right exercise that you want to do. For strength training profile, even if you adjust the number of reps, type of exercise, or the amount of weight the watch will register it is more often inaccurate. You need to continuously supervise the watch whenever working out. When it comes to gym-based workouts, the optical heart rate sensor of Garmin tends to be very inaccurate like many other wearable products, and most of the data is assumed from the details you put in at the start so that is just an approximation. On the other hand for any crossfit workout or standard strength training workout the Optical heart rate sensor shows pretty much accurate data. The Garmin has to do some improvements to make it more accurate. When a person searches for any exercise the device only shows that exercise which is available on the database of Garmin Connect. With the use of the internet, more of the exercises can be made available to the individual according to his requirement. The watch can be more accurate if it automatically counts the reps and takes you to the next set without the need of the individual clicking or tapping on the watch over and over again.
